In metro Dubrovka vicinities - industrial region where the known enterprises are located - 1st State Bearing factory (GPZ №1), in honour of it is named the street Sharikopodshipnikovsky ("Ball-bearing") on which it is located by the metro station. Many shops of the factory are thrown, but reconstruction in the near future is expected. The second large enterprise - the Moscow Tyre Factory making modern tyres for russian motor industry. Near to Dubrovka the enterprise with the long name the State centre of science of the Russian Federation - open joint-stock company Research-and-production association "Central scientific research institute of technology of mechanical engineering" (GNC the Russian Federation of Open Society "CNIItmash") is located. There is also one more scientific research institute - "European Bearing Corporation". At 1st GPZ the Palace of culture which "the Theatrical Center on Dubrovka" now is called has once been constructed, in it there was an act of terrorism during a musical "Nord-Ost". To victims of tragedy near to the theatrical centre the monument is established. Is worthy the Mat Marjam (Maiden Maria) temple located near to the metro station Dubrovka of Assyrian church of the East, unique nestorian a temple of Moscow. Big enough area occupy City Clinical Hospital №13 and Hospital for veterans of war №1.
